Really enjoyed the day and Phillip new a lot about riding and staying in the safest position on the road to allow for maximum visibility a d your limit point if how far ahead you can see and looking for hazards, really enjoyed trying the different ways of taking corners through the twisties ,

I took away a lot from this course and plan to do the gold one next to forever improving my riding and making me safer on the roads well worth it recommend it

I really enjoyed the course, and learnt alot from it, the instructor was awesome, and practical part of it was really interesting

This was a great full day session, starting with some theory followed by the opportunity to practice relevant skills. I have definitely benefited from the further insight into body/bike position for cornering and the trail braking skills. I also gained confidence with emergency braking including relating this to following distance, allowing myself to ride safer with increased awareness.

Course was awesome, was good to get so many tips and pieces of advice about riding safely. After completing this course I look forward to doing more in the future with Rightway.

Despite tornadoes, wind, rain and rubbish flying everywhere, we had a superb day.
The way Phil presented the new learning to us was awesome. I finally understood the way “lean angle” was calculated and what the up to now mysterious “trail braking” was all about!
Great props. Loads of patience. Awesome way to bring it across and then practicing outside. This was by following, looking, doing. Perfect delivery. I went home and was able to explain it to my husband….. we’ll be practicing these new skills together!! Thank you Phil. I’ll be looking forward to another day out!

Yet another fantastic day out on the bike learning from Neil’s vast experience, his approach to teaching and passion for motorcycle training is second to none as well as the knowledge he freely shares to make your riding skills that much better and each ride more enjoyable. It was a great day. The ‘classroom session’ was very worthwhile and provided a great start. I found the subjects covered were highly relevant and put across in a very interesting and informative way. Even after fifty plus years of riding I learnt a lot and understood more of the principles and concepts of riding safely. The on road elements were also good. A good mix of rural and urban riding that covered a range of scenarios and tested and helped refine my riding as well as reinforcing best practice. Phil put the whole package together in a very thoughtful and informative way and I keen to repeat the course in future to help prolong my riding ‘career’ safely.

Brilliant day - Phil was great who presented easy to follow and logical information during the theory part of the course followed by a effective practical riding skills session with constructive feedback- Highly recommend him.

Great course, use of props were great to visualise ideas being discussed in the class room section, then a fun ride to put it into practice. Registration discount is a nice side effect to help reduce the pain ACC is putting on the easy target in the two wheel community!

I completed the Ride Forever Silver course and had a fantastic experience! The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and offered really practical tips that immediately boosted my confidence on the road. I learned so much about cornering, road positioning, and hazard perception. Highly recommended for any rider looking to level up their skills!

Explanation in morning was clear and concise. Afternoon put into practice what was learnt in the morning. Always good to improve riding experience.

I really enjoyed the Gold course, the clever use of props, to explain “why” and “how”
The instructor Phil, made the course easy to understand, I have done a few bronze, silver, Gold course, this is the first time I have really understood the different ride styles.
And different braking techniques.
I got to use all of them going around the hills.
The weather was fantastic, and the people were all amazing, everyone worked together, to help each other.
All and all a fantastic day.

Enjoyed the site, classroom discussion, critical insights and demonstrations too. Phillips has an easy style of teaching which was inclusive to all of us. The on-road critique was my highlight, great tips for understanding the ‘why’, will use all of them to finesse my riding. Fantastic day!

It was an awesome day. So instructive. I got so much good advices for highway ridining, pillion, slow speed, hazard detection and avoidance. Thank you so much. I loved the detailed techincal discussion about Bike chassis and gemoetry. Trail, Wheelbase, Rake and the effect of tyre pressure on the Bike handling.

Great experience to further develop your riding skills. Experienced instructors give real world examples and on road experience that support and further enhance the content being delivered.

It would be quicker to list the motorcycle courses I haven’t done with Neil - as aside from the BS+H, my whole MC licence journey and all 3 Ride Forever courses have been with Empowered Journeys. Since 2018 I have experienced different levels of training with Neil. Every time it’s clear you’re dealing with someone that has a wealth of riding knowledge who is always eager to get the most out of every rider. I would recommend Neil to anyone and everyone. Had a most enjoyable refresher day, with a variety of different roads to ride, and many a u turn to do.
I had an issue with the earphones , there were times I couldn’t hear above wind noise, which I think is a quite normal problem.
Or as my wife says I’ve got selective hearing.

The mix of theory and practical content was excellent with well demonstrated real world scenarios that could be encountered on a variety of roads and conditions.
Philip delivered the course clearly with frequent demonstrations and explanations when required.
Overall I think the course was excellent and had some valuable reminders even for experienced riders.

The hole day was great with great information thanks heaps
